Kind and mindful, they take most things in stride. Irritation doesn't come easily to them, and anger even less so. Since they've dedicated most of their life to being a healer, their disposition is exactly what you'd expect: caring and quick to help where ever possible. Easy to talk to and happy to talk with others, their mood is most determined by just how quickly their tail is wagging.

Hooks and History
hook 001. In the forests surrounding Gridania, Bubba can be found meandering around collecting herbs or other materials. You're as likely to find them with their head to the ground looking for apples or rare minerals as you are to find them sitting idly by a pond fishing.
hook 002. Bubba is extremely good at getting themself into life threatening situations. This can result in either a very easy way to find them in quicksand or up a tree to avoid fighting with local wildlife. Generally they're okay. Usually. But help is never turned down and likely appreciated.
hook 003. The rare times Bubba leaves Gridania are to go on missions for their best friend while he's busy saving the world. Through his own coin, he's able to buy protection for Bubba during these times away from home, given their aversion for fighting.
BIOGRAPHY Bubba doesn't quite know their real origins. Their father is from Tural, that much they do know for sure, but the rest is a bit of a blur. They've been living in Gridania for as long as they can remember, and primarily fear of the unknown and a deep aversion to hurting others leaves them stuck in limbo. A few incidents from their childhood have lead to a near crippling fear of water and an inability to swim. They enjoy where they're at, and don't seem to be bothered by their inability to leave the place they call home.
They've spent a not insignificant amount of time learning the healing arts, and as such have an extremely intimate understanding of how it all works. Physically and magically, anything that ails you can more than likely be fixed with their knowledge. Despite having a natural alignment with elemental aether, they refuse to call themself a prodigy and vocally discourage others from doing so, especially their best friend.
Despite claiming they're fully Viera, there are a few things about their general appearance that seem off. It's hard to put a finger on what it is, exactly, but any call to attention on this matter is swiftly deflected. Whatever this oddity is, it seems to effect how well their ears can emote (which is to say, not very well if at all). Their tail is fully functional and extremely emotive on the other hand. Their ears are very small when compared to most other Viera (especially those that claim to be full blooded) and their tail is quite large for a Viera.
They're a middle child of five siblings, and besides their younger siblings and accounting for age they are the shortest so far. Their siblings are scattered around Eorzea, but every so often they meet back up in Gridania to catch up. This is rare, and despite the fact Bubba doesn't seem to have a great relationship with most of their family they try their best to show up to these gatherings. They don't even bother to mention their mother.
PHYSICAL ㅤ Nonbinary, jagged top surgery scars on their chest. Are not on hormones or plan to be, so anatomy is in line with that. Their skin is extremely soft and smooth despite the hard work they do with their hands. Legs are powerful, soft, and primarily covered in fur. The fur is also soft. Their overall lack of sexual interest has also manifested in having very little to no erogenous zones, though a particularly dedicated partner may be able to find some.
MENTAL ㅤ They've been told their whole life that they were "broken" or "unnatural" for having so little physical desire, and as a result has internalized it and finds very little pleasure in, well, pleasure. Despite this they are surprisingly open to encounters, though prefer to know the person for some time. They also observe their partner the whole time, which can be offputting to some.
POSITION ㅤ Vers./Switch
While Bubba is asexual, they are capable of having sexual encounters. They're few and far between, and canonically they've only slept with at most two people, but it's not impossible for this to be an option depending on if whoever is talking to them has formed a close bond. However, I'm not usually up for random ERP, so do not go into this hoping or expecting for it to happen. It's a special case sort of thing, and I really have to trust you.They are however hyperromantic, and get crushes/fall in love very quickly and easily. They blush easily and often when faced with this, and while their ears don't emote well their tail is a dead giveaway to how they're feeling at any given time.Sex for them is viewed as simply a way for them to be closer to someone they have romantic feelings for. Beyond that they do not have desires of their own and will go along with whatever their partner prefers.
